So today I had the first job interview of what may be a few. You know you are doing well when it is a group interview and only six out of twelve people turn up. Then of the other five only three speak English with any fluency which is a prerequisate for most phone jobs. Then of the last three, one forgot her resume, one is a white man with an afro (God I hate white men with afros) and the other one Is a bald gay man who wore his "happy shirt". HELLO ME!

I sort of laughed my way through the interview. I couldnt stop myself. Every time we were alone all the other guys dived for the collected of "womans day" magazine and flicked through it like it was a matter of life or death and every time they did I would laugh again.

Then there was the fact that the role play they chose to use was one I used to run at the recruitment centres I used to run. Happy shirted gay man soon became depressed however when asked to sit a test measuring his windows knowledge. HE WAS A MAC USER! Now I am not anti-mac users but for gods sake stop playing with those toys and get yourself a real computer.

Some wierd news came just before the interview (which lasted three bloody hours!). I got knocked back on a phone job because I didnt have requisate experience but they want to talk to me about one of the supervisory roles! The logic there astounds me. I would take it though because the money is nice.

So all in all the job hunting is going well and the freaks are out.
