Fuck,

Last night I went and watched a comedy recital with Heidi and the only real laughs they got was when they used the word fuck.

Lazy comedy I guess, thank god we didnt pay to see it and were given a free pass. I dont really get that sort of comedy,. there were skits and there was lots of singing, also video footage of a lord of the rings pisstake they had filmed by a beach somewhere. There was nerd debating of the star wars trilogy and most of all there was very little laughter.

As an aid to comedians just beginning in the game or going a little stale here is a list of things which make me laugh like an hyena on crack.

- Animals with bowel issues

- People hurting themselves

- George Dubya

- American comedians mocking Australian politicians on TV with no idea what they stand for.

- Jokes, it is ok to tell an actual joke.

- sexual innuendo (ha! love that the world innuendo actually has a built in double entendre)

- political incorrectness.

- swear words as long as they have a purpose.

- little people, midgets, you know what I mean.

- real life stories

FOr gods sake, at least try and make people laugh and stop it with what are obviously in jokes between the people on stage. Those of us off the stage are left with no friggen idea. I know comedy is hard but should at leats be fun!
