So I am an outsider in the the US presedential campaign. I know that I want Kerry to win or at least I did. Now I sort of just hope no one votes.

It is crazy what covers for campaigning in that fine country. Today in our humble Aussie papers there is a picture of John Kerry after he went Goose shooting. Now that isnt slang for something far cooler. He went out and shot a goose.

Now something is severely wrong in a country when you need to kill something to win an amount of the votes yet there he was, shot gun in hand whilst one of his aids lugged the animal carcass.

It wont work of course because I have heard a rumour that Bush is arranging his aides to strat carrying around the bodies of Iraqi civilians. Kerry shouldnt be trying to match his opponent in the red neck vote. Is a competition he just cant win.

Surely we dont live in a time where this sort of thing is going to win over the majority of people.

Is sad that the gun lobby carry so much power that a person needs to kill something to be seen as a "regular guy".

That is my whinge for the day. Lord help all of us when one of these men will become president of the most powerful country on Earth.
