weighing it all up

People at work tend to annoy me. Just a medium amount but they still get up my nose. What I tend to do on my lunch break is disappear. I go out to a park or to a seat or to a public bathroom. Anywhere people will leave me alone.

Today I did just that. Went for a walk around the city and ate my peanut butter and jam sandwichs. Delicious. No dramas there whatsoever.

Then I get back to work and the place is frantic. All the tellers are running around panicking and freaking out. They run up to me... "the weighing machine is broken. We dont know what to do".

The reason they were so freaked is because we have a couple of coffee shops bank with us and it isnt unusual for them to drop off a few thousand dollars worth of coin. If you cant weigh it you have to count it by hand and no one wants to do that.

So I wander into the tellers area and look at the scale. Ask what is wrong, and they tell me the display wont work. I look closely, shake my head and turn the power on. "Tada! Look at that. Works a treat when you turn it on". Imbeciles.

So that is what I deal with. People who wont do anything unless I tell them to do it. Still it is nice to feel superior.

Keep Smiling

Jason
