So the househunting is still happening. This weekend just gone we got practise in the whole moving house thing. We got evicted from out last place. It had been on the market for a while and hadnt sold so they decided it may well sell better if they didnt have tenants to worry about so we were given 60 days to move out. It only took a week to find somewhere new and they can now live without our 295 bucks a week.

So we have now moved just down the road and on top of the hill. We can see through to St Kilda and South Yarra from our lounge window and to the city from our bedroom. Would be like being rich if it wasnt for the fact the place is smaller than your average four wheel drive.

It has three cupboards for storage. THREE, including clothes we have had to fit all our shit into three cupboards. This is obviously impossible so luckily Heidis mum has left her bedroom set up as though she never left. We have piled boxes upon boxes of crap into it.

As far as trying to find a house to buy, we are getting closer. There have been some very nice properties along the way and we got for a second look at one of the properties this weekend. It is a nice house, even nicer now they have lowered the price by 10 grand. It has a spa bath which we are trying to ignore but is sort of nice. It is also only a five or ten minute walk to the beach. Is amazing how the agents expect you to make a snap decision and buy something so expensive. Is a massive commitment and we will slowly drive these agents crazy whilst we decide.

Everything else is good. Heidi is back from India, she had a great trip and didnt bring anyone back with her which was great as well.I have noticed since I got back the reactions of people who find that we dont always holiday together are strange. A lot of women have said to me that I must be a nice husband for letting her go (apparently husbands let wives do things now) and lots of men say to me that I am a lucky bastard having the house to myself for almost a month. People need to talk more, it seems if people communicated then more women would be having holidays whilst more men would be sitting on their couches drinking beer in their underwear (not that I did that of course Heidi).
