There are a handful of days on your life you get to genuinely classify as magical. You can think of most of them. The day I proposed to Heidi, the day we got married and so on. In the past three months I have had two such days. One on the 23rd of January and one yesterday.

On the 23rd of January we had the magical moment where we experienced just how much joy two pink stripes can bring you. Sitting on our bed we waited patiently as the stripes. We hadnt rezally been trying but it was a very happy surprise none the less.

Then yesterday we had the first ultrasound. Until that moment everything feels so surreal. Then suddenly you are looking at a little (very very little) person bouncing around in your wifes stomach. We sat there in amazement just looking at the screen. It is impossible to believe just how happy that moment can make you.

So that is my news. On the 25th of September we are due to have a littlechild of ourown. We dont know whether it will be a boy or a girl and we havent decided yet whether or not to find out. There is much debate about it as there is with names. I and we couldnt be anymore excited.
