The joy of youth

Today I was sitting out in the front of the bank and watching this little boy talking to his mum about all the customers. When I walked out he had identified me as "the blue man", his mum explained it was all about colours for him at the moment and it didnt particularly bother me. My shirt was blue and I was a man. All seemed to check out just fine.

The next customer to wall in however was of Sri Lankan origin. At the top of his little lungs he said "look mum, a black woman". The look of horror on his mums face was worth the price of admission at all not to mention the air being sucked out of the room by politically correct idiots with their looks of horror.

The mum apologised and explained the same way she had to me. He is obsesses with colours right now and you are wearing a black top so he associates that with you. It was all smiles and everyone was happy.

Next though an Indian lady wearing a very very bright sari. Mostly red and yellow so I along with everyone else sat and waited to see which colour he picked out. "Look mum, another black woman". I had to go out the back. I couldnt contain the laughter any longer. By the time I got back out the front they were all gone. I didnt get to thank any of them.

Then I got to thinking. What the hell made me the blue guy if it isnt shirt colour?

Keep Smiling

Jason
